Adoration is spending time with Jesus, praying before him in the Consecrated Host. Just as we spend time with our loved ones, we express our love for Jesus by spending time with him.
Nocturnal Adoration is every first Friday (in Spanish) and second Friday (in English) of each month after evening Mass in the Church.
8:00 PM - 11:58 PM
We begin with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and we reflect on scripture passages, and pray devotional prayers.
The time is NOW. We must awaken from our spiritual slumber and call on the power of the Holy Spirit to renew in us a sense of zeal, prayer, and sacrifice.
Jesus asked his Apostles: “Could you not watch one hour with Me?”
And now, imagine we are at that same Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus, feel His eyes on us and hear exactly the same question which is now directed to you...
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Chapel
Dear Parishioners,
We would like to invite you all to visit Our Adoration Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration.
Currently we have many unfilled hours available for Adoration, so perhaps you can consider giving Our Blessed Lord just on hour or more. It is guaranteed to be the most quiet hour of your hectic week, and what busy person can't use that? Discover the difference an hour of prayer can make in your life. Consider spending a few minutes or an hour with our Lord in prayer.
You can spend this time with Him in spiritual reading, reading the Bible, praying the Rosary, talking to Jesus heart to heart, talking to Him as you would a friend, or just sitting and enjoying the peace that comes from simply being with the one who loves you the most: Jesus.
You will also set an important example for your children. They'll ask you about it; encourage them to join you! Let them show their gratitude to Our Blessed Lord as well. Praying together as a family brings a great renewal in the Catholic family life.
So please prayerfully consider committing an hour to Jesus. If you have any questions, please call our Parish Office at 425-481-0303 or email [email protected].
Thank you and God bless you.
