Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: 'Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.'" Bringing our children to the Baptismal font is the first step of our Christian Initiation.

The parish will work to help the parents and the Godparents come to a fuller understanding of this beautiful Sacrament. A session for parents and godparents is offered throughout the year with Baptisms scheduled at the end of each month.

Please bring the following items to the Faith Formation Office by the 20th of the month prior to the Baptism:

• Copy of the child's birth certificate
• Copy of the Godparents' confirmation certificate and if they are married, a copy of their Catholic Marriage Certificate. 

Please note that there are not Baptisms during Advent or Lent.
