Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are needy and suffering, in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam and patron, St Vincent de Paul. Organized locally, Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice, making no distinction in those served because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.

As Vincentian volunteers, we:

1. Offer person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering, regardless of religious, ethnic, or social background.
2. Provide financial assistance (for rent, utilities, clothing, furniture, groceries, transportation, etc.) through donations made by our parishioners.
3. Offer prayer, spiritiual renewal, encouragement and resource identification to those served.
4. Provide Christmas and Thanksgiving Food Baskets to needy families.
5. Attend bi-weekly meetings to deepen our own spirituality and provide mutual support and encouragement to fellow Vincentians.

Ways you can serve those in need:

1. Join us as an active member of our society. We meet the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM in Seton House #1. Contact Jerry for more information.
2. Make a monetary donation through the monthly parish envelopes, designated electronic donations through the parish, or special collections throughout the year.
3. Donate groceries for our food pantry.
4. Pray for our ministry.
