The Archdiocese of Seattle has opened an Emergency Relief Fund. It is designed to provide financial support for parishes and schools to address the urgent needs impacting their local communities during a disaster. Gifts to the Emergency Relief Fund will support flood-related needs and will also be available in the future for other local emergency or disaster relief efforts. The Knights of Columbus (KofC) is an organization that empowers Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work, and in their community. Founded in 1882, it supports refugee relief, Catholic education, local parishes, dioceses, and global Catholic social causes. KofC encourages men to lead, serve, protect, and defend.
